Introductory course to rock climbing

This introductory rock climbing course does not require prior knowledge. You will be able to discover the world of rock climbing and progress safely in the search for the necessary autonomy.

Rock climbing initiation course

Objectives

This initiation course to rock climbing seeks to coordinate the movements of the participants. The balance between body and mind will help us not only to climb easy walls.

Achieve the necessary autonomy to be able to go out with friends to climb easy routes. Acquire the basic knowledge of technique and safety in rock climbing.

Minimum requirements

  • Be in good physical shape.
  • The company has CR insurance and assistance so it is not necessary to be federated but it is always recommended.
  • Wanting to learn to climb.

Duration
2, 3 or 4 days. Days of about 8 hours being possible that these are lengthened or shortened depending on various factors (meteorology, logistics ...), always in this case it will be compensated in another day of the course.

Development place

  • The courses are held outdoors looking for the best hot rock.
  • Spanish geography. The climbing school is chosen according to the origin of the students, the weather and the quality of the wall for a good development of an initiation course to sport climbing.

What should you contribute?

  • Personal belongings: appropriate clothing for the moment (light and comfortable) and always long or pirate pants, sunglasses, sunscreen, raincoat ...
  • Sportswear that does not constrict and is not bulky.
  • Backpack from 30 to 40 L.
  • Sports footwear for the approach (shoe or treeking boot).
  • 1 liter of water minimum.
  • Attack meal (dried fruit bars), lunch and some fruit.
  • Personal first-aid kit with some plaster, betadine, some gauze and some anti-inflammatory ... (what each one is used to using before a small scratch).
  • Headlamp in use and spare batteries.
  • Notebook to take a note and a pen.
  • Climbing shoes (you could rent them through us).
