Classical Climbing Course

Taking the leap through this classic climbing course is exciting. The degree of climbing is in the background while we are able to equip our own path by desecrating the wall to a minimum. Leaving it as we found it is an experience.

Objectives

  • Aimed at climbers with a sports degree of V + or 6th of the first who wish to enter routes of one or several unequipped lengths.
  • Learn to correctly use the handling of the double rope, self-protection material, assembly of meetings and progression in rope.
  •  Our goal is that once sufficient autonomy has been gained, one day you can climb routes in emblematic places such as Picos de Europa, Galayos or Ordesa.

Minimum requirements

  • Reading a climbing manual is recommended to assimilate the course contents more quickly. (contact us and we recommend one).
  • Good physical shape.
  • Good management of basic knots (clove hitch, dynamic and its blocking, 8, 9, machard).
  • Minimum climbing grade V + of first in sport.
  • Being able to walk through rocky terrain and mountains.
  • Wanting to learn to climb unequipped.
  • The company has CR insurance and assistance so it is not necessary to be federated but it is always recommended.

Duration
2, 3 or 4 days. Days of about 8 hours being possible that these are lengthened or shortened depending on various factors (meteorology, logistics ...), always in this case it will be compensated in another day of the course.

Development place

  • The courses are held outdoors looking for the best hot rock.
  • Spanish geography. The climbing school is chosen according to the origin of the students, the weather and the quality of the wall for a good development of an initiation course to sport climbing.
