Initiation Mountaineering Course

Our initiation mountaineering course has for years been the training tool most used by summer mountaineers who want to get started in winter mountaineering. In an initiation mountaineering course we are going to teach you how to safely face slopes in icy snow and that is why it is very important to learn how to use not only the progression tools (crampons and ice ax) but also the safety chain (harness , rope and belay elements) given that falls on steep snow slopes must be avoided and secured, we will teach you to plan your outings with all the existing means today (websites, weather and snow newsletters, digital cartography ...) We will build a house of freedom called Mountaineering from a solid base of theoretical and practical knowledge.
