CIRCULAR EXCURSION OF A DAY: OTAL-ORDISO

Excursion: Otal Circular Tour - Ordiso

This is a very complete day trip within the Bujaruelo Valley to discover two of its most well-known valleys and to see the most emblematic peaks of the area. Route for the most demanding hikers.

Starting from San Nicolás de Bujaruelo (1350 m), we will ascend to Otal Valley, beautiful plain of grass and flowers with a serpentine river and surrounded by peaks between 2300 / 2800mts. Arrived almost at the bottom of the valley we will ascend by pasture road until reaching the pass of Ordiso (2200mts), from where we will enjoy impressive views over the massif of the Vignemale, Port of Bujaruelo, Gabietos, the peak of Otal or  Tendeñera. From there we will descend towards the Ordiso Valley and on footpaths go to look for the river Ara, once there we will follow its channel through the GR-11 (Path Transpirenaica) for a beech that deposited us in the meadows with boxwood until reaching again San Nicolás de Bujaruelo
