Ascent to Winter Vignemale in two days
La Guided climb to winter Vignemale o Pique Longue It is a discovery for lovers of Pirinéo.
El Vignemale Massif It is formed by a ridge of up to 16 summits of more than 3000 meters. It also highlights one of the largest glaciers that survive in the Pyrenees, the Glacier d'Ossoue Between Cerilona, Clot de la Hount, Small Vignemale, Grand Tapou or Montferrat, among others, highlights the Pic Longue with 3298mts, the highest peak of the French Pyrenees.
In order to promote it, it is not necessary to climb the French slope. From the Company Guides of Torla-Ordesa we propose you the ascent with guide along the route of the Moscowa, on the Spanish side from the valley of Bujaruelo. We can also do it by the normal route of the Ossoue Glacier.
Route of the Moskowa
The route in winter season is planned in 2 mountain days. Since San Nicolás de Bujaruelo, or, if possible, from the Ordiso's Cabin At 1600mts with the help of our 4 × 4, we will make the approach to the Massif to mount a compamento at the base of the Corridor of the Moskowa about the 2500mts. On the second day we will ascend by the Moscowa runner (II +), until the Collado de Lady Lister. From there we will enjoy the view on the Glacier d'Ossoue and all the crest of tops. We will cross the upper part of the Glacier to ascend to the Pic Longue and if we have time to some other peak like Cerbillona. A long but very nice descent awaits us until the car.
By any of the normal routes it is necessary to tie in order to approach and ascend to the summit.
