Barranco del Viandico

El Barranco del Viandico, in Añisclo, is an ideal canyon for beginners and families. Near Torla-Ordesa, Ainsa and Jaca, you will make a very varied descent. Being in one of the sectors of the Ordesa National Park, it offers a very varied route. For this reason, the Viandico is ideal for families and the little ones. Indeed, this large and spectacular gorge is suitable for children because everything is optional due to the existence of multiple alternative routes. None of its jumps (up to 8m high) is mandatory and you can jump from any height. Also optional is the 12 m overhang that we will find at the end of the descent and that those who want will abseil. Facing all its optional tickets, the adventure is guaranteed for any adult whatever their sporting profile.

If you are looking to cool off in the Pyrenees of Huesca, we will accompany you to discover this fun ravine near Ordesa. In the descent of the Viandico ravine it is OBLIGED ONLY TO WALK AND KNOW TO SWIM. If you want to enjoy magical landscapes and a turquoise river, canyoning in the Viandico gorge will be wonderful. In addition, it is super fun because it has several quite large jumps (between 7 and 8 meters) for those who want a bit of adrenaline. And on the other hand, everything is optional for those who do not want to get wet

What do you need to bring?

Swimsuit; We will use it under the neoprene (better to wear). Before putting on the neoprene, we use it for the approach and then for the return to the car.

Footwear; It does not have to be mountain specific, but the ravines slide and it is advised not to be very deteriorated. Better to be closed and with laces (avoid velcros). Bring spare shoes to change at the end of the activity.

Neoprene underwear; Some Mayas or a T-shirt, of course, that are synthetic (not cotton), for the coolest, it is recommended.

Towel; To dry off and change clothes at the end of the activity.

Dry clothes of replacement.

For those who wear glasses It is advisable to wear them with a strap or go without them.

For those who wear contact lenses It is advisable to wear swimming goggles for jumps or slides. A memory card or a USB to take your souvenir photos.
