Guided ascent to the west face of the Taillon
With this guided ascent to the west face of the Taillon, we offer you the possibility of combining mountaineering in height and variable difficulty. As every year the west face of the Taillon is a challenge for all those winter lovers in north faces and corridors. Given its height and orientation good ice is formed and it is usual to find good snow.
Currently the conditions are the best in the entire Pyrenees to enjoy both hard snow and quality ice. The snow that fell in November together with the anticyclone of recent weeks have left perfect conditions for any runner on the entire west face.
You can choose between climbing the classic in moderate difficulty goulotte on the left or a little more technical but also short… ”la Quintana”.
For those seeking maximum verticality we have a route called "the central". It should be called "the central of dreams".
There are already many visitors, friends and fellow adventurers with which we have promoted any of these wonderful brokers.
We will descend preferably through the Collado de los Gabietos and it is worth noting that the activity can be carried out in 1 or 2 days.
