VIEWPOINTS OF ORDESA-GORIZ REFUGE-ORDESA VALLEY. Hiking with 4×4 support.

We started the summer by proposing an excursion of hiking with 4 × 4 support. Spectacular route to get to know the Ordesa Valley and the National Park both from the heights and through the heart of its valleys.

Hiking with the support of a 4×4 is an activity that allows us to approach higher or farther areas than we can normally reach with our cars. In this way we save part of the route. It allows us to reach more distant areas. and we find more solitary and exclusive places.

On this route, we will take the 4×4 in Torla, at our central office. From here we will go up the forest track of the Cutas, until we reach the last of the viewpoints, at 2150mts. From there we will continue along a path with little incline, which runs through the high profile of the Ordesa valley until we reach the Goriz refuge in about 2 and a half hours. We will enjoy the views of the high mountains. Emblematic peaks such as Monte Perdido, Soum de Ramond or El Cilindro will be imposing in front of us. There we will make a stop to have a drink and see one of the best-known refuges in the Pyrenees. Once rested, we will begin the descent towards the upper part of the Ordesa valley. In a couple of hours we will arrive at the Cola de Caballo. Waterfall that crowns the Circo de Soaso and the Ordesa valley. From here we will go through the entire Ordesa valley, enjoying its forests and waterfalls until we reach the Pradera de Ordesa.

Full day excursion. 1 hour in a 4×4, about 8 hours of hiking and 20 minutes back on the Ordesa bus. Accumulated slope walking of +250mts and -950mts.
