GUIDED WINTER TOUR OF 2 DAYS IN THE PYRENEES.

2-day winter guided hike in the Pyrenees.

We propose you to make a 2-day winter guided hike. The last snows have arrived in the Pyrenees to round off the end of the winter season. We plan to take a 2-day winter journey through the Pyrenean valleys. We will always try to make a journey between two nearby valleys, spending the night in a mountain refuge. For this occasion, we propose the crossing between Lizara and Canfranc/Candanchu.

Normally we used to mount a vehicle support between the starting point and the end point. Mainly we usually use to spend the night shelters for rest, dinner and breakfast.

Other examples of different itineraries would be for example; from Respumoso to Wallon to finish in Panticosa, other options could be through the Ordesa Valley sleeping in the Goriz refuge or between the Tena valley and Canfranc. We will choose the departure based on the snow conditions in the mountain.

For this type of itinerary, an acceptable state of fitness is necessary since the stages may have slopes of around 1200m to 2000m depending on the chosen route.

As we have been doing with any other activity, we will form a minimum group based on independent reservations.

The WINTER crossing, we have raised it in 2 days. There are multiple combinations always with the premise of being able to link those shelters that open to enjoy the snow on certain dates.
