Roland's Rise to the Breach with 4 × 4 Support

La Roland gap (2807 meters) is located right on the border of the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido and Pyrenees National Park (France).

La Roland gap It is one of the most beautiful and impressive ascents of the Mazizo del Monte Perdido. In addition, it is also the natural way to cross from Spain to France or from Ordesa Valley a Gavarnie.

This place is full of stories, legends and energy that the guide will tell you. The views are absolutely beautiful, both on one side and the other of this cross-border gate of the Pyrenees. This guided climb is for all those reasons a long and essential mountain journey.

Guides of Torla-Ordesa offers you the possibility to perform the Guided Ascent the Roland Gap with the support of one of our 4 × 4 vehicles awarded by the track of the Cutas. This access site is restricted and "exclusive", up to a height of 2190mts. This option allows us to enjoy both the ascent to the Brecha as the magnitude of all the peaks of the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido.

We will pass through a path with little unevenness and we will have beautiful views of the Ordesa Valley and its great peaks. Then, in less than 2 hours, we will plant in the area of Refuge Goriz. There we can make a stop to take something quick in the atmosphere of a mountain refuge.

From this beautiful refuge we will ascend to Collado de Millaris. Then, from its Plane we will ascend to the Brecha from Roland, sea  by Step of the Sarrios or the normal way (according to conditions).

The descent is done by going down the Circus of Carriata and going through their Pegs So we will also enjoy good views over the Valley of Ordesa, coming to the Meadow of Ordesa.
