El Baptism in Ice, offers us the opportunity to start in the fantastic world of ice water. It is still a practical mini-course for anyone who wants to try the sensations of climbing through icy waterfalls.
Enjoy with our guides of the winter mountain. Meet the ice and enjoy the adrenaline that climbing the frozen waterfalls in complete safety with our guides provides.

Baptism in Ice is a practical day of Ice Climbing. The guide will introduce us to the material that is used in this modality. Types of crampons, ice axes, ropes, ice screws, etc. He will explain the use of them and the techniques of progression, types of ice and meetings. To later make a demonstration in the icefall and mount the ropes for your practice. You will progress in "top-rope" for safety. In other words, always with the rope on top to avoid the risks of a fall. Since the Baptism / Course is only 1 day, if the group level allows it, we will try to do long bars in a waterfall.
For a good use of the Baptism in Ice, it is necessary to have a level of rock climbing of minimum IV + / V- and recommendable to have some experience in mountaineering activities.
If you already have experience in Alpinism and you are looking to learn all the techniques of Ice Climbing. We also offer our Ice Climbing Courses of 2, 3 or 4 days.
