This winter try our Winter Mountain Course!!!
For this season we launch this new product. The Winter Mountain Course or Mountaineering in Winter, is aimed at all those hikers who want to expand their knowledge when planning their winter activities.
This next Bridge of the Immaculate and of the Constitution, we open the first of the groups. option to do it for 2, 3 or 4 days. From December 6 to 9.
CONTENTS
The snow and the mountains in winter are beautiful but have their risks. Good planning of the activity and knowledge of the mountain will be essential to avoid these dangers.
In the theoretical part of this course we will teach you how to plan from home. Therefore we will teach you to read the maps, cartography, orientation, nivology, meteorology, to apply the past weather to the maps to intuit where we can find the dangers, materials, etc.
In the practical part we will teach you to choose the most recommended itineraries in the mountains, for safety and comfort. We will practice the techniques of progression with rackets, self-arrest with poles. We will teach how to use the rope to be able to secure you in some step that you can find in your future activities. You will learn the protocol for the use of the Arva (protection equipment and search for avalanche victims). Bivouac setup in the snow, either with igloos or snow caves. In short, everything you need to go to the mountains with knowledge and safety and enjoy it in winter.
El Winter Mountain Course It can be done in 2, 3 or 4 days. Where the first day will be theoretical and planning, the second will be practical workshops. The following days, in case of doing it for 3 or 4 days, will be outings by itineraries where you can practice what you have learned during the course of the same. This way we will establish what we have learned.
