Event Details

Guided ascent to Monte Perdido on 1 day.

Next May 10, we have scheduled the guided ascent to Monte Perdido. The most emblematic summit of the National Park awaits us. Although the mountain conditions are still snowy (winter), the high snow level allows us to access as in summer, along the Miradores track in our 4×4, up to 2150m. So we can make the ascension in a single day.

El Monte Perdido It is the main peak of the whole mass of the three Sorores and the third highest peak of the Pyrenees with its 3.355 meters. The height together with its beautiful passages make it an emblematic peak. The Valley of Ordesa, the famous Escupider and its isolation make this climb a long and beautiful day in the mountains.

Ascension:

When the snow level is already above 2300mts we can plan the ascent in just 1 day. We will be able to access in 4 × 4 up to 2150mts by the track of the Miradores. We will leave at dawn from Torla up to 2150mts. From there in just 1 hour and a half, we will be in the vicinity of Goriz. From there we will start the ascent and enjoy the impressive views of the valley as we ascend to the summit. We will pass through the Stone City, Frozen Lake and the famous Spittoon. Throughout the journey we will have to use our crampons and ice axes. Once we have passed the Spittoon, we will only have access to the summit. From it we will enjoy unbeatable views over the three valleys of the National Park

An essential ascent for all mountaineering lovers in the Pyrenees. Enjoy it with the safety of our guides.

(In case the snow has disappeared from the lower levels, we can plan the winter ascent in 1 single day with 4×4 support.
