Form yourself in Security and Winter Mountain with our Winter Mountaineering Course

Open course with places available to start the year and start winter 2020/2021 prepared. In November we offer a 3-day Winter Mountaineering Course. From November 13 to 15.

Our Winter Mountaineering Courses in Ordesa and the Pyrenees they are designed for all mountaineers who want to train safely in the winter mountains.

We have an aula of training to be able to develop theoretical contents with the help of the PC that will serve as a base in your future outings. You will learn how to plan your winter mountain outings safely and from home.

It is a course of autonomy in winter mountain in which it is not necessary to have experience in mountain with snow. Discover the safety techniques to progress on snowy terrains with our guides.

We will develop content such as;

Cartography, nivology, weather forecasts and types of snow that we can find, use of technical material such as rackets, poles and safety ropes, as well as the use of the Arva to search for avalanche victims, are several of the contents that you will find in our Winter Mountain Course.

The usual hours of the 9 courses: 30 am up to the 17: 00 pm. It is usually eaten in the mountains and we usually alternate theoretical sessions with practical sessions.

The usual development sites are Ordesa, Bujaruelo, Valle de Tena or Bielsa. We adapt the place of development according to the weather and conditions of the mountain.

In the Mountaineering Initiation Courses in the Pyrenees and Ordesa, we include the technical material for progression and basic safety. rackets, poles, harness, helmet, rope, ... These will be provided by the organization if they are necessary for the mountaineering course.
